Perennial: Evergreen. Drought tolerant. Native to S. Africa and Namibia. Grown in gardens since the 1700's! Pyramid shaped leaves are covered in spots resembling tiger stripes. The flower spikes are held over the foliage & hold tubular, rose pink flowers in summer. Striking plant for small containers or as a houseplant. Height: 12-24 in. Width: 8-12 in. Exposure: part shade. Water: moderate/dry. USDA Z9. As a houseplant: provide indirect light, good drainage, and deep, infrequent water.
