A family heirloom from Kirksville, Missouri. Tender, sweet & delicious. A productive acorn squash type with 6-9 inch fruits that keep well. The fruit ripen from a cream to light gold when mature and its flesh is yellow & cooks up to a buttery-soft texture with a sweet chestnut flavor.
