Old heirloom variety, has smooth, tan skin w/med. ribs & a flattened shape, resembles a wheel of cheese. The dp orng flesh is mod. sweet & great for pies or soups. Sometimes called a Cinderella pumpkin, related to butternut squash. Use as you would butternut squash. Easy to grow, cold-tolerant & a long keeper. Avg. 6-10 lb. Yield is 2-3 pumpkins per plant. Beautiful heirloom from the south of France w/large flattened fruits that are heavily ribbed. Green when immature, turning lovely dp-orng brown when fully ripe. The dp orng flesh is a particular favorite of chefs for its fine moderately sweet & nutty flavor. In France, wedges are sold in supermarkets & farmers' markets for cooking. Decorative. Ht: 24-30". Avg. up to 20 lb. Yield is 2 pumpkins per plant. Full sun. (Maturity: 100-110 days)
