Shrub: Succulent perennial from So. Africa w/fleshy pencil-like foliage. Flower stalks carry clusters of star-shaped orange flowers w/fuzzy yellow stamens in spring-fall. Good cut flower, rock garden, bank & pot plant. Clump former: 12" x 24". Stalks to 12-18". Smaller & less heat tolerant than species. Exposure: sun. Tolerates dryness & poor, dry soil. USDA Z9-11.

Organic Napa Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage

One of the larger Napa Cabbages. Produces large 12" football-shaped heads with overlapping golden leaves that have a good, mild, sweet flavor. Slow to bolt. A great substitute for lettuce or traditional cabbage. Great fresh, cooked or pickled for kimchee. Also good for stir fry or braised, also adds depth of flavor to soups. Organic Heirloom Cabbage

Excellent early summer variety. Dense, solid heads are very spherical, 5-7" in diameter & weigh 3-5 lbs. Delicate but crunchy texture. Sweet, spicy flavor with buttery undertones when cooked. Compact habit ideal for small gardens that can be planted closer together than other cabbage varieties. Great for slow cooking, slaws & sauerkraut. Height: 12-15". Plant in part shade. Perennial Grass: Evergreen. Was found by Josh Williams at Cal Flora Nursery. Tolerates drought & deer. Clumping, mounding growth habit w/plumes that gently arch over the foliage. Good border, meadow, container and cut flower plant. Bloom time: spring-summer. Plume color: wheat. Foliage color: mid green. Height: 1-2 feet. Width: 1-2 feet. Exposure: sun/part shade. Water: dry.
